About Me

 Welcome to On the Outskirts Photography! My name is Lauren, and I am an adventure seeking, horse loving, coffee thriving, freelance photographer based out of Cody, Wyoming. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Wyoming in 2019 to earn my associate degree in Photographic Communications. I specialize in outdoor photography, seasonal events, family and senior portrait sessions, small wedding elopements, special announcements and promotional shoots.  

My heart has followed my camera for years, photographing my way across the west, capturing those fleeting instants that the great outdoors seems to enhance. My media is ever changing but it has one major component in common: I seek out natural light to use to my best advantage in producing traditional and timelessly classic photos. I focus on absorbing realistic color through my camera lens and reconstructing each candid moment, creating everlasting memories that carry on each legacy. 

Though much of my work is based outside of town, I love photographing new things and experiencing the diversity of different lifestyles.
